| First let me say I'm not real sure I posted this in the right spot. I have been playing at online gaming sites for over a year now and am thinking of starting up my own site. I was wondering if anyone in this forum had any suggestions for features to put on the site, or just anything they would like to see when they sign up. I am trying to figure out how to draw people to a new site with incentives and lower rake charges. Any help would be appreciated. | ||

| Security is number 1. You absolutely need security. Unless you are an expert on encryption and internet security, start looking for someone who is. Being Legal is also number 1. Sit down and talk with a lawyer before you do anything. I'm not sure but I'm betting unless you are outside of the US or you are representing an Indian Gaming community, the legal nightmare is probably not worth it. But I'm not a lawyer so I don't really know. Sitting down and talking to one before investing any money programming is a must. Once you have those 2 things covered you want to look at what will make your site better than the million sites already out there and build on it. I think it is necessary to have some capital going into this to cover legal costs, programming, servers, bandwidth, advertising, sign-up bonuses, etc. Make a detailed business plan and make sure all your bases are covered before doing anything. This actually might be number 1 too. | ||

| Oh yeah, if that last post discouraged you then forget about it. That will be the least of the hurdles you end up running into before it goes live. | ||
