About my 5th hand at the table so no reads on anyone, this is online. 2 UTG with AKo folded to me. I bet out and button 3 bets. I call and its down to the 2 of us. Flop comes AQ3 with 2 diamonds, I have A of diamonds. I bet out, button raises and I 3 bet to find out whats going on, he just calls. Turn is 2 of diamonds. I bet out again and now he raises again and this time i just call thinking that he may have AQ with the far possiblity of a flush and that I have 9 outs to beat him, if he doesnt have the flush. The river a King. Probably my worst play but I bet out going on my instict that he has 2 pair and I rivered him. He then raises and I just call, probably bad if I did infact think he had AQ. Flips over QQ for a set. Anyone have thoughts on how to play this better and if going on my instict is correct or just overall flawed?

Other than betting the river where I would have check/called, I think you played it fine. You have to call his turn raise because now you have picked up a huge draw and even if he has QQ, you still have a lot of outs. I think the biggest mistake in betting the river is that the King is also a str8 card to the board, so now there are multiple ways he can beat your two pair.
