| Are any of u going to the Sands this weekend for the first few tourneys. I plan on playing the $200 rebuy event on Sat. Nov 15th. If anyone is going let me know. I am staying at Trump Plaza (Fri-Sun) and will treat to food and beverages. Also, this will be my first major casino tournament and have no idea what to expect. Maybe someone on here can let me know what to expect. It says $100k guaranteed is that 1st prize or total prize pool? How many players should I expect. How long will registration last and how early should I be there? Being that the 3 day main event will not be until the following weekend will the pros not be there yet? Anyone interested in my comps (My father is a big player not me but I still get basically unlimited comps) in exchange for a little info let me know. Thanks, Scott Francis P.S. | Most of the pro's will not be there for the rirst couple days, they are all at Foxwoods for the WPT main event that starts tomorrow...I played in the 500 LHE event and during the tourny I got to play against Mark Sief. And then I was moved to a table that had Kathy Liebert, Amir Vahedi. After 10 minutes Vahedi was moved, and then around 30 minutes later Men the Master came to the table (lucky me)......I finished somewhere between 40-45, the turning point of my day was losing 2 huge pots to liebert, I flopped a set of 8's had the nuts all the way to the river, the river broght a J and she beat me with a set of J's I lost around 7000 on this hand because it was capped each round, I had the nuts all the way to the river...I lost another 4000 to her when she had a higher flush.....anyway I played to win the tourny and if the Jack didnot fall in the river I am pretty sure I would have been at the final table.... | ||
