| SitOut Strategy during Tournaments ( offline play ) ---------------------------------- Question 1. Are players allowed to choose Sitout option during gameplay? 2. If they are allowed to remain Sitout should blinds be deducted automatically from their wallet amount on their turn? 3. For how long a player can remain sitout? What is the right way to allow a player to remain sitout? 5. How to avoid maximum sitout, while tournament is approaching towards finish of it. 4. Overall, how to handle sitout option throughout the tournament for effective handling of game? | ||

Yes, blinds are deducted and hands are dealt to their seats and folded off preflop by the dealer. > > 3. For how long a player can remain sitout? Otherwise, you can walk away and let you blinds keep getting deducted until you run out of chips. > > 4. If someone sits out, you still deal cards to him every hand, but fold them all off in turn preflop and you take the appropriate blinds from his stack on his turn. > -Moz "One November spawned a monster in the shape of this child..." | ||

| I really really feel intentionally sitting out is a horrible strategy. You shouldn't be entering a tourney in the first place if your plan is to blind off into the money... At the very least you might get your blinds folded around to you as opposed to the button or SB always taking them. You can certainly play your AA, KK, AKs hands... | ||
