| Hello, I'm a newbie who's been playing the play money tables at PokerStars. I've found it pretty easy to win if you just play tight. So next I wanted to try a $5.00 single table SNG for fun. How long should I set aside for the tourney? 1 hr? 2 hrs? Thanks | ||

| first one i played was the longest, took under 2 hours but over 90 minutes so i would plan at least 2 to be safeish Rule #1 of Poker Circumstances alter cases Rule #2 NEVER forget rule #1 | ||

| How many chips do you start with on PokerStars? Paradise starts with 1000 and rarely see them last longer than an hour. PartyPoker starts with 800 and they rarely last longer than 45 minutes. | ||

| Pokerstars gives you 1,500 chips even at the $5 + $.50 SnGs. I have found that most last about an hour and a half to 1 hr. and 45 mins. | ||
