 pros playing party poker 200k tourneys?, palman, 9. Nov 2003 18:42 | ||

| I got lucky and qualified for the 200k NL tournament on my first satellite. Now that registration has closed with 1500 (ouch) people and 60k goes to first, I'm wondering how many of the regular touring pros are playing in these things. Just as a side note how many people posting here are playing in it. If you are, did you qualify via satellite or just buy in directly? EV wise satellites aren't quite as good since you'd have to get first once out of eight tries for it to be profitable, however I think thats about my average of 1st places in a 10 person sit n go, so its about even for me. | ||

| To the best of my knowledge, quite a few of the circuit traveling pros do play in these events. Of course, they miss some of them due to being on the road. Players like Phil Ivey, Erick Lindgren, and Tom McEvoy do play these tourneys when they're around. Mark | ||

| i find it pretty easy to win the satelittes on pp. I almost made the boat this time and only invested a dollar. i dont think too many pros play in the 200k tourneys but probably some. Its limit so if you play good solid poker your chances are good online. | ||
