| 10 dollar sit and go on UB. savvyguy is at seat 0 with 3545. RecycledPork is at seat 7 with 2010. Blinds are 50/100 I'm UTG with QQ i raise to 350, Pork is on the button and reraises to 600. At this point i put him on AA, KK, or AK, more likely one of the first 2. I figure i have to call and look at the flop. Flop (board: 2c Qs 9s): I check looking for a check raise, Pork bets 1350, i go all in, and he calls. savvyguy shows Qh Qc. RecycledPork shows As Ad. Turn (board: 2c Qs 9s 5c): So far so good. River (board: 2c Qs 9s 5c Ah): Ouch, this really hurt and i had to go on tilt control, but i still have about 1500 left, so i'm not in bad shape. I played this hand correctly right? Same tourney a few hands later. savvyguy is at seat 0 with 1435. kenc is at seat 3 with 470. blinds 50/100 Ken calls, I'm in the BB with KcQc, i figure since ken is shortstacked he would have gone all in if he had a pair or AK, so i go all in, and he calls. savvyguy shows Kc Qc. kenc shows Qs Qh. At this point i'm thinking i should have just checked. Flop (board: Ad Jc Th): I flopped the nut straight, the poker gods are making up for my previous bad beat. Turn (board: Ad Jc Th 8c): River (board: Ad Jc Th 8c 9c): Giving him a low straight, and giving me a flush. I won this hand, but i don't really like how i played it, what do you guys think? I eventually won the tourney, my first win after a string of bad loses. | ||

| I would've played them both the same way as you did. You sound like you read your opponents right, and just were unlucky on the first hand. On the second hand you were the one with a lucky draw (slowplaying a pair heads-up is one of my favorite things to do). A perfect example of 'what goes around comes around' :) | ||

| Sorry, i should have specified, we weren't heads up, he was actually UTG with QQ, and just called. | ||
