| So instead of bothering the experts with the same old questions on bankroll and other stuff, I was wondering if any of you knew a book or article that could go in depth on creating one, what the terminology means, advanced management, and stuff like that. | AGAIN, THERE IS NO "MAGIC" FORMULA. AS ROY COOKE IS FAMOUS FOR SAYING "IT DEPENDS' I REALLY HAVE TO LOOK AT EACH STUDENT, ON A CASE-BY-CASE BASIS. IT TOTALLY, TOTALLY DEPENDS. SOMETIMES, I LIKE TO CHALLANGE, MYSELF, AND PRETEND THAT I ONLY HAVE FIFTY BUCKS, OR SO, AND SEE HOW MUCH I CAN WIN IN A DAY. IN THE LAST TWO MONTHS, I HAVE HAD A $2800, AND A $7600 DAY, EACH TIME STARTING WITH ONLY $55 ! ! ! SO, YOU DON'T REALLY NEED A "BANKROLL" TO BECOME A SUCCESS!! ONLY IF YOU MUST MAKE A LIVING, SOLEY FROM POKER, WITH NO OTHER INCOME COMING IN, DO YOU NEED A "BANKROLL" NOTE: THE ABOVE, IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE. OF ALL THE PEOPLE I KNOW, WHO MADE IT IN POKER, ONLY ONE, HAD NO OTHER MONEY COMING IN. BUT, HE STARTED WITH A $400,000 BANKROLL, PLAYING 10-20 THROUGH 30-60, SO WAS ABSOLUTELY UNDER ZERO PRESSURE, TO WIN, AND COULD TAKE TIME OFF, IF THE CARDS WERE'NT "RUNNING" IF YOU WANT A CORRECT ANSWER GIVE ME YOUR GOAL, HOW MUCH YOU NEED TO MAKE, HOW MUCH ELSE YOU HAVE COMING IN. AN HONEST EVALUATION, OF SKILL LEVEL, AND EIGHT DOLLARS AND FIFTY CENTS, AND I WILL GIVE YOU A DETAILED, ACCURATE ANSWER. OK , OK, I'LL TAKE OFF THE $8.50 REQUIREMENT, BUT GEEEEEEEEEZE, DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA, HOW MANY PEOPLE WRITE, WANTING ANSWERS, AND NOT ONE PERSON HAS EVER OFFERED ME EVEN A BUCK!!!!
