Charting Bankroll With Excel, Stl10202, 4. Nov 2003 20:23

Ok, I am very cheap and created my own bankroll tracker using excel, with the help of two other people's bankrolls that I have looked at. I have two questions. First, when doing averages to chart my performance over the past few months, should I do monthly averages or like 10/25 session averages. Does it matter how much I play to come to an answer? Second, for the masters of excel, how do I collapse cells so I don't have to scroll down to get to the current session.

Thanks in advance

As a matter of fact here's one for standard deviation on excel (assumes you used row one for headings):
Column A: Amount won/lost
Column B: Hours played
Column C: Total won/lost to date "=SUM(A$2:A2)"
Column D: Total hours played to date " =SUM(B$2:B2)"
Column E: Earn per hour "C2/D2"
Column F: necessary for column G "=((A2-SUM(A:A)/SUM(B:B)*B2)^2/B2)"
Column G: Standard Deviation "=SQRT(F2/SUBTOTAL(2,A$2:A2))"
