| Well I'm mostly a NL player, but with all the talk of check raising going around lately I can't help but think maybe you should have given it a shot. On the flop, at least, you're far enough ahead where even if you were afraid of it being checked around one extra card shouldn't hurt too much, and that check raise just might be enough to push off ol' Mr. K8o | ||

| unless there's some new form of check raising i don't know about, it wouldn't have been impossible for him to check raise when he was behind the other guy | ||

| Excellent point, shows how awake I was on Tue. I even mentioned that he was on the button in my post. That is why I don't play poker (or operate heavy machinery) in the morning. | ||

| This is why I hate limit games. AA and KK will get beat way more in limit than NL because you can't make people pay for their draws. Only thing I would have done different is maybe go for a check raise on the flop or turn. Then after Q fell on river pull a check-fold, or check-call -FlopDaNutz I'm not a player I just MUCK a lot! | ||

| I think your title says it all, as in "you took AA IN the pooper". My advice... Stay away from limit tourny's if you don't want to see this. In NL, you coud have made K8 boy go away with a big pre-flop raise or a pot-sized bet on the flop. | ||
