So, who will take part in the semi-finals next week?

I have 2 entries and have 3300 extra chips to use. The consensus last time was to spread them out evenly because of the "decrease in value" with larger stacks, so I guess I will do that.

Any other tips or suggestions from the experienced people?

dont do that, what i did was use the full amount the second day and use the first day as a learning day. youll need every chip you can get on your good day trust me. Another thing, play tight/aggressive and accumulate chips, and when you do, and the blinds start to increase significantly, get even tighter. That is really the only way to last. play solid aggressive poker and youll be fine.

Yes, maybe I will do that, specially with my limited experience of multi-table limit HE (playing mostly NLHE SnG and some multi-table NLHE).

So I would start the first day with 2300 and the second with 3000 instead of 2600 and 2700, not a big difference but I guess it can be significant (busting out with 300 chips less than the PP million winners would suck!)

I'm planning to not make it consecutive days also, but play Friday and Sunday to get some time to digest everything for the second day. Does it sound like a good idea?

Ok, I just have to put down some of my experiences on "paper"...

I did play the semi-finals both Friday and Sunday.

Friday I started with 2300 chips and was going to consider it a "practice run" when I don't have much experience with big multi-table limit HE tournaments. I played tight and aggressive (as was suggested) and managed to keep about average stack for a long time.
After about 6 hours, I noticed that the player count was down to about 60 (17 cruise packages was at stake with another 3 money places). I started thinking that I might make it to the cruise and all of a sudden I became weak tight (BIG mistake) not raising when I should and seeing "monsters under the bed" everywhere.
My cautious play managed to get me to one off the paying positions, but I was the short stack and I realized that I wouldn't get a cruise with only 20,000 chips and the limit being 5,000/10,000.
I get ATh on the button, folded to me so decide to try and get some chips with this hand, so I raise to 10,000 (half my stack). SB re-raises me 5,000, this guy has bullied me off my chips during my weak play so I decide that I'm now pot committed (next small stack had about 30,000 and then it was a jump to about 50,000) and I put all my chips in.
Flop comes 6hJs3c, Turn is Jh and River is a blank giving me only pair of jacks with a A kicker and SB turns over QQ for 2 pairs and I became the "bubble boy" (is there a worst place to finish....) after more than 7.5 hours of play....
Maybe I should have waited for something better but the blinds was going up so I had just barely enough for one more set of blinds and I wanted to aim for top-17 not top-20.....

Sunday I started with 3000 chips and was doing really good, playing some good poker. For the first 2.5 hours I was among the to 30 most of the time. Then, within an hour, I hit 5 bad beats and with the limits going up and me having good cards I had a lot invested in these pots, I managed to drop down to a couple of hundred chips.....
I was basically blinded out when the cards dried up and busted out in 182 place.

But I guess that is poker....

Still kicking myself for getting weak on Friday.....
