| What is everyone's favorite brand of cards? What kind of price are you paying and where do you buy them? Does anyone know anything about KEM playing cards? Thanks, Cliff | ||

| KEM is top of the line, used by many poker card rooms. All plastic, they can be bent by the players peeking at the corners without creasing. At non-poker table games (esp. blackjack), many casinos use what U.S. Playing Card sells as "Bee" brand in retail stores, though customized with the casino logo on the back and, sometimes, custom ace of spades and jokers. There are other manufacturers of casino cards, but they are not widely distributed at retail. KEM and Bee can be found at many drug stores and gift stores. | ||

| I like Bee's the best, just under $2 just about anywhere that sells playing cards. They plain pattern on the back is nice, and they slide and shuffle nicely. I really don't like the feel of KEM cards. There's just something about the old paper feel in between your fingers. Lee | ||

| I really like the feel of shuffling KEM cards. They come with a lifetime warrentee. They should because you can spend up to $10-15 per pack. The are cleanable and have some real lovely designs on teh back. A set of KEM card can last quite a while if you take care of them. Another card I liked are the Hoyle professional cards. Again they shuffle real nice and hold up pretty well. | ||

| KEM all the way. I've played with drugstore cards and Hoyles forever, dreading the $25/setup pricetag on KEMs. About a month ago I just sucked it up and bought the KEMs and let me tell you, I'll never go back. One of their claims is that they cost *less* over the long run, which is true, since you'll purchase a setup once every say 5-7 years in home games. | ||

| I buy my cards from www.5stardeal.com. You can get a used pack of casino cards for $1. You don't get to pick which casino they are from, but the cards are usually really good for the price. | ||

| I purchased my chips from them (very happy with them). They also gave me a free box of their used cards but they all were marked. Most were either badly cut or had black marks on some cards. They did replace the box with a new one but they were marked also. Have you had any problems with them being marked? | ||

| I haven't. Some do have one end chopped off, but it is all the cards in that deck. This is so they are not brought back into the casino. | ||
