| Party bumped up starting chips in their SNG tables from 800 to 1000. I applaud the move. More like Paradise now. Should allow for more end game strategy instead of the forced all-ins you frequently have to take. We'll see how strategy changes versus your typical Party SNG player. | ||

| Just checked. Only the $200/100/50 levels have 1k. Others have 800. | ||

| Are we peasants in the 5 and dime too low for 1000 chips? | ||

This in turn affects how many games can be run over a period of time on a given number of servers. Longer game times mean fewer games per hour, resulting in lower profits from entry fees. I think it is a safe assumption that there are far more players below $50 than above, so it makes sense to get as many of those lower games in as possible. | ||

| I don't know if you guys noticed, but they did bump up the entry fees for the 100 NL tournaments. Perhaps in an effort to compensate for the monies they're losing as a result of longer tournaments. Just a thought. | ||

| I've recently taken my S & G action to Party and my only complaint is that I can't type notes on the bad players fast enough. Holy freaking moley! That, and the buggy waiting list interface. The PokerStars and Paradise S & G seems to have gotten really tight. I am hearing good things about UB here so I might try them too. Anyway, 1000 in chips is good. | ||

| I recently tried the Party sitngo's, I usually play on UB, and I couldn't stand them. The shorter stack and the quick blinds pretty much ensure that everyone stays short stacked. Bascily, I always felt like I needed to catch a hand (and go allin) to win, which is never a good state to be playing poker in. UB sitngo's seem to give a good player much more room to manuever. Just my thoughts. Aaron | ||

| I like UB's format, too. But they take too long to fill. In the time it takes a UB SNG to fill, I've missed getting in half a dozen Party SNGs because they fill up too fast. | ||
