| First post, so bear with me: I'm new to Partypoker and have had success at the .5/$1 tables (play for an hour or so with $14 to start and generally stop with $25-40). I'm looking to play for bigger pots and have about $100 to play with. Any suggestions? I can generally play about 90 minutes at a time. I tried one of the $25NL tables once and got smoked. | ||

| If you only have 100 bankroll I would suggest you stay right were you are with the 0.5/1.00 because you are already playing at a limit that could easily cripple you if you sustain a bad run. If the 100 doesn't mean anything to you then take a shot at a higher limit and see how it pans out. Good luck. | ||

| the best bang for your buck excitement-wise, time-wise, bankroll-wise and otherwise would be cheap sit n go's. if not then play higher, say 1-2 or 2-4, provided you can replenish your bankroll with other income. if you dont do well, you can always drop down. ----------------------------------------------------- "I prefer talking with old persons of the female sex who peddle family gossip; next, with the insane-and last, with very sensible people" -S. | Thanks for the comments. I'm still new enough that I'm playing for fun and don't risk what I can't afford to lose, but I'll look for a 1-2 table next time the wife goes to the mall and test the waters for about $60's worth. | ||
