| Ok, when I sit down at a game, what are the best ways to calculate the percentage that I will say catch a straight on fourth street or 5th or when i am suited before the flop, and flop shows two cards of my suit, how do I find the percentage of me getting the same suit to give me a flush on fourth or fifth street?? | ||

| braindead way to think of your 2 examples you want at least twice as much in the pot on the turn as it costs to call on the flop for either a straight or flush and 6 times as much on the river example on the flop it costs you 6 to call pot needs to have at least 12 in it already example on the river costs 6 to call the turn pot needs at least 36 | ||

| math way to figure it out how many bad out comes on the turn *flush example 38 of 47 times you get bad result or 38/47* multiply by bad outcomes on the river *37 of 46 or 37/46* so for a flush you will not make a flush approximately 65% of the time subtract total from 100 or 35ish in this case and thats how often you make it which translates into braindeadness 2 to 1 against | ||
