| 1 dead, 12 missing, 16+ construction workers injured. Collapse of the under-construction garage occurred around 11 this morning. Route 40 into the area is closed off, also an 8-block area around the casino. If you were heading there tonight or this weekend, you might want to call first. I'm not sure if it affects any casino operations or not- i don't think the casino itself was damaged, but access might be cut off. Condolences to all of those affected by this accident. | ||

| .....I saw this awful turn of events this morning on television and I couldn't believe it. This was the second time this has happened in Atlantic City over the past two years. The first time it occured at The Claridge - one of the oldest casinos in Atlantic City. It saddens me to know that there was a fatality and that many men were seriously injured. I hope (and pray) that the one's that are still missing will be rescued and that everything will be okay. My condolences go out to the families who have been affected. Dave | ||

| Wow. I'm sorry to hear that. Of course, my thoughts and prayers go out to all who are effected by this tragedy. 4P - I'm also releaved that you were not there when it happened.
