| $20 NL holdem S n G on UB. Early in the tourney, 8 players left I get dealt KK UTG. There has been some maniacal allins the first few hands, two people busted out with marginal hands. I decide to smooth call the BB, three callers and the button raises 300, (leaving him with 500). I havent played a hand yet and reraised All-in. He calls and shows A6 Flop comes 888 Turn is 4 River is,, (not an A) but an 8 and I lose..... I never saw that before. O well | ||

| Ouch! I saw that coming before I even read it. As soon as I saw flop 888 i had a feeeling you were gonna say quads fell on board. I have seen that once before in very simalar situation where trips were on flop, i made a huge bet with my QQ and got a caller with AK. The quad fell on turn and I folded to an all in bet. Your right though, very tough to swallow, maybe I should have went all in after flop, but I didnt want to run him off. | ||

| it happenned on a WPT event, as i remember one guy had KK and tryed to slow play and 4 sevens were on the board. the other guy had Ace something. Goerhing and ? | ||

| It was Goehring and Kirill heads up at the WPT Championship. Goehring had the pocket Ks and slow played them to a crawl. Four sevens hit the board and Kirill won with the ace kicker while goehring frustratingly threw the cards away. | ||
