Playing 3/6 limit holdem on UB.
Ordinary table....no maniacs...no more than 3-4 tops seeing a flop.
I hold QsJs on the button...
EP player bets, (hes a fairly tight player, doesnt chase pretty easy to read, only plays premium hands, and doesnt get aggressive with a dangerous board)
MP calls (looser than most at the table, but not a maniac,)
Folded to me and I call (was thinking about raising for free card, but didnt want EP to reraise. Thinking he has a fairly strong hand)
FLop comes 9s Jh 8h
EP bets (thinking he has either AA KK QQ.)
MP folds
I call (didnt think he was gonna give me free card, so no raise)
Turn : 10h Board now is (9s Jh 8h 7h)
EP now checks,
I bet, he raises, i reraise he calls,
River is a blank. He checks, I bet, and he folds!!!!!

Did I just get lucky? If he had KK or AA dont you think he would have made a crying call? I only pull moves like this against one player, maybe once in a blue, Ill bluff two players. How often do most of you take advantage of position, even though your certain that you are beat??

Obviously he was putting you on a flush draw. His whole point of reraising after turn was to make sure you would reraise abck if you had the flush. When in fact, you did reraise, he is now thinking, ok he hit his flush, and just calls. His reason for calling is because he was probably holding the Kh and hoping to backdoor his flush and beat you out. When his Heart didnt hit on river, he would fold to anything, you played this correctly even though u didnt hit your STR or FL...you represented it well and took a nice pot. Good job, I would have played the exact same way.

i tell people i have KK all the time. dont fall for obvious lies. what you should ask yourself is did he play it like he had KK? nope.

i dont know how u can put him on aa, kk here. i would put him on AJ or KJ. with that board , thought he would test you with the check raise, and when u raised him back probably wrongly assumed you had the str, so folded on the river. he might of also had a gutshot on the turn with a pair of jacks too, like K-J. and when he didnt hit the nut str , folded his pair. he did not have AA, KK imo but who knows, maybe he did and just doesnt know how to play.
