| I have a question I am goin down to AC with my girlfriend who is a teacher , she will be attending teachers conventions with 1000s of other teachers and husbands etc. I was wondering if anyone has played poker during this event and if it is like playing on a weekend with newbie players such as my self ( this is on a Thursday and Friday) any sudjestions | ||

| Hi, AC holds conventions quite often and I haven't really noticed a difference when it came to the poker rooms attendance during those times. What *will* be busier and may be harder for visitors to book, are the hotel rooms. But seeing that you'll be going there on Thursday and Friday - the whole casino, in general (which ever one it was held at) would tend to be busier anyway - especially Friday. 4P- | ||

| Ill be down there on Friday the 7th. Not for the convention, just planning a night to AC. Ill be staying at the Taj, but plan on playing in the $65 buyin NLHE tourney at the Trop. I havent played at Trop. Only the Taj once before. This will be my second B&M poker experience. This is a rebuy tourney. ANy suggestions on how many rebuys I should be will ing to make. Im bringing $400 for poker, but dont want to waste it all on Rebuys. 4Poker youre familiar with the Trop. How is the competition going to be for the Friday tourney? how many rebuys to people usually make? Any advice on Rebuy strategy? should i take more chances, and loosen up a little during the rebuy period? any tips would be appreciated! | ||

| i was wondering what the time, and structure is for each round, how many chips you will get...etc etc..i would love for someone to explain....its says it is a rebuy?...SOOO if i loose one hand can call a rebuy for another 1000 chips or whatever i started with or do i just go back to 1000 like i started i do know how tourneys work but .........at the TROPICANA my guess is iffy?....please explain if you can ,,,thanks!! I AM ENTERING THE 20+ 10..thursday.. | ||
