| It's a re-buy tournament. The re-buy period ended about 10 minutes ago. Let me repeat: The re-buy period has ended. I have an average chip stack with 4800 or so. I get dealt AA UTG+1. Blinds are 75/150 and I raise it to 500. The chipleader (around 8000 chips) sitting 2 to my left re-raises it to 1000. It's folded around to me. I push all in. He calls. I turn over my AA. He turns over KTo!!!! Why the hell would you raise and then call an over the top re-raise with KTo when the re-buy period had ended? Anyway I am very excited at this point. Yay. Woohoo. Flop comes KT4, all diamonds. He has two pair. Boo. Wah. The turn is a rag diamond, and what's that, I have the Ad and the nut flush now. Yahoo. Take that. My better hand deserves to win. But you know how this story ends: The river was a K. Shock. Anger. Weeping. Violent pushing of the off button on the computer. I'm out and I'm furious. I steam about that hand the rest of the night (away from the card tables). Thanks for listening. Johnny. | ||

| Hey, Johnny--I discovered a way to vent my steam online last night when my playing and decisions got really bad, etc. mainly due to a looooong string of average to poor cards and bad beats on the VERY few good cards I got (it was drier than the Mojave in August) - I zipped down to the free tables and-called-raised-capped called anything and everything I could - I gave action, got action, and played as badly as I wanted without a care in the world. It felt good. It did. I even won a couple of hands! ;^) Give it a try the next time you feel like throwing your mouse against the wall and ripping that bad beater out of the computer screen and ripping him to shreds and jumping all over him and making him beg for his mommy and........I guess I better stop now....whew........ | ||
