| I'm really hoping Daniel Negreanu and Lee Jones, whose comments on the heads-up match were INCREDIBLY helpful to me, follow this message board--and I'd of course also be very interested in any other opinions on this as well. There was just one thing that has still been bothering me ever since I watched the commented replay: the final hand. Sammy has AcTc, Chris has KcX, and I believe Chris had paired up. Anyhow there was a good chunk in the pot by the time the river came with 4 clubs on the board. Daniel and Lee were in agreement that Chris's all-in was a mistake, and the pokerstars moderator even questioned them on this. I still don't really understand the mistake. Wouldn't Sammy have been likely to call if he had had Qc or Jc, possibly even Tc or 2 pair. If that had been the case, it would have put Chris back in the game. Basically, I guess it boils down to whether Sammy would clearly fold anything except Ac, and I just don't really see that. | ||
