Tables and Room for Home Game, michaliv, 22. Oct 2003 11:26

I am thinking about starting a home game. What type of table would be acceptible (besides an actual poker table)? Also I would like to have a more than 1 table tournament. How much room would I need for 2-3 tables?

Thanks,

Michael

I forgot one question: Would it be a problem to put the tables for a tournament in more than 1 room?

Any table that is comfortable and sturdy will work. I would recommend picking up a poker table though, you can get them for like $100. One that you just pull out to play on then shove it back in the garage. Now, on to the room topic. The room has to be decent sized. Figure you have a table, 8 chairs and people, plus all the noise. If the rooms are connected then I don't see a problem with them being in two rooms, just be sure to keep them balanced. I have sheets that I made up for one of my poker tournaments if you are interested. Email me at brentpoker@yahoo.com and I will send them to you. Hope this helps.
