Personally, I'm pretty comfortable with 5-7 buy-ins (for example, I like to keep $300 and play $50 SNGs) > How many games is long-term? hmm... I've never thought of it this way, I usually look more at number of hands, than number of games... maybe someone more experienced than me has an answer to this one. > What is average 1st/2nd/3rd %'s? For 10-Player SNGs, it's usually 50%, 30%, 20%, for 6-handed, it's usually 70%, 30% (top 2 only). -Moz "There's too much caffeine in your bloodstream, and a lack of real spice in your life." | ||

| If you are a solid player, placing in the money 40% of the time is a good goal to shoot for. Of course you want it to be spread fairly evenly amoung 1st/2nd/3rd (13%/13%/13%). on 21. | Based on those projections one would earning, on average, a 20% return on one's buy-in for every SnG they entered ($2 for every $10+$1, $10 for every $50+$5). Is that 20% ROI inline with what some of the other UPFers are earning from SnG's? Just curious... | ||

| here are my results for 58 20+2 sit n gos on UB. Out of money 33 3rd ($40) 9 2nd ($60) 6 1st ($100) 10 Assuming my 7:00 am arithmitic is right, that's a win % of 43. I'm up $534 in these games. Pretty good i guess! This includes a long loosing streak and I think i've improved my play during this time. So seriously good player, as opposed to a kinda good player such as myself, should do even better. | ||
