In an earlier post, someone mentioned these suites as being nice, comfortable, close to downtown and around 189 /week. I can't find any info on these particular suites.

Does anyone have info. on them?

Thanks

Mark

http://www.budgetsuites.com

I haven't stayed there, only can tell you what I have heard from reading reviews all over the net. There are quite a few in Vegas, and the quality is not equal. In particular, there were several complaints against a particular branch (I forget which now, apologies). I recommend doing the due diligence at places like eipinions and what not.

Prices look good though!

thanks

Looks like one of the suites are just behind the Stardust.

I've narrowed my search down to Binions and this Budget Suites.

Binions $225 for the 6 nights, has lots of poker on site, and is right downtown. This will save on cab rides, except when i go to the Mirage and Bellagio ( at least one day each)

Budget Suites $189 for the week, but cramped for 3 people (only one bed at that rate). This place is only a block from the stardust and therefore walking dist. to the strip's casinos, but is a cab ride from downtown, where we'll be spending some time

These are the cheapest two places i've found that are clean and have a good location. I'm leaning towards Binion's, i'll have to see what my friends think.

Any other thougths are appreciated.

Mark

You may find that "behind the Stardust" isn't anywhere near as close to things as it sounds. It may not even be a close walk to Stardust, and Stardust isn't really a close walk (but it ain't too bad) to the center strip. You may not enjoy being stuck "outside it all."

Add to that you'll have to walk to Stardust to do simple things like catching a cab.

Speaking of Stardust, did you try them?
