| 7 players left in a $30 sit and go on UB. Im the chip leader with around 3000. Table has been solid. No maniacs. Solid poker so far. Im on the button and get dealt AcKc. Blinds were (30/60). Three limpers to me and I make it 300 to go. Two called. Flop comes: Qc Jc 4h EP bets out 150 (he only has 700 left), Next player folds. I raise him all-in for 700. He limped in Preflop so I dont expect him to have JJ or QQ, The only holdings that Im worried that he might have is AJ, AQ or 44, but I doubt 44 cause he would have bet more that 150 to stop me from calling. He calls me and flips over Q10o. Board comes out rags and he wins the pot and Doubles UP. Then he says: "How could call me all in with just overcards. You didnt even have anypart of that flop!, "Your bullying tactics didnt work that time, lol" I replied and agreed with him...told him what a nice call he made. I was actually a huge favorite in the hand after the flop. I think I had 18 outs to beat him. But I didnt want to explain myself to him. I ended up finishing 2nd. Was that a bad play on my part. Raising him allin on just a draw????? | ||

| I don't see anything wrong with it, the fact that he called for all his chips with just a QT is kinda surprising though. Before you knew his hand, you did have 18 outs which is better than even money to get there by the river. Even if you think he has a KQ or AQ, you still have 15 outs, which is better than 50/50. When I pick up a draw that strong and I have a lot of chips, I'll push it very hard, as most of the time, I won't get called. Lee | ||

| You should win about 63% of the time. You beat just about every hand he could make - ie: a ten gives him two pair, but gives you a straight, so he would have to have another Q (2 outs) or at least two tens show up... But he also just needs you not to draw a single ten or an ace, or a king or another club... So the advantage was that you were unlikely to draw dead, but still needed to draw. In anycase, you were favored. | ||
