I just started playing OnLine and am having a number of connection issues in each session. I play at PokerStars and Pacific Poker (up and coming site). Anybody else have connection issues that they resolved? I have high speed cable and a new Dell computer. Thanks

Ralf

i would also like to know.

several times while playing on PStars my lag goes through the roof.
starts out great and like slowly gets worse til it becomes unplayable *actually cost me money in a tournement cause i just got fed up with making everyone waste their time waiting for me. and having AQ folded before the flop didnt help*

Not the answer to your question, but...

I have successfully gotten credits on multiple sites when connection issues ended up costing me pots. One time my all in was used pre flop on one hand, and I was dealt AA on the next, when I lost my connection after some raising on the turn and my hand was folded I just emailed the hand# to support w/ an explanation and was credited the amount of the pot when timed out(I had trip aces).

haha, well you could write them a nice email explaining that. Inform them that you probably would have placed in first, but you will settle for the cash equivalent of somewhere around 2nd or 3rd place...

lol =)
