Question - Poker Room, pokster, 14. Oct 2003 22:24

I have recently been recommended Poker Room as somewhere to play with great graphics and good tournaments. Can someone who has played there before please tell me if this is the case and if their cash out rates are good and what the competition is like. I don't want to get any nasty surprises should I decide to give them a shot! Any honest opinons would be welcome.
Thanks

I use it. Competition weak, Cash outs same as other sites, I have done it many times w/o a problem. I have asked customer service questions many times and always received an answer the next day.

Main draw back, it does not support poker tracker. I am switching sites for this reason.

www.pokertracker.com

keeps every stat you could possibly want on your play. Are you profitable with KJo. You can look it up, what is your hourly rate, keeps it. It tracks every hand you play but you have to use a supported site. My brother uses it and it is worth every $ IMO

I play at the GoldenTiger, do you know if it will work on the Prima Poker networks? or is that a shot in the dark asking you.

Thanks Blade. I notice that on poker tracker there is a fairly small number of poker sites that support it. Have you played those sites and can you recomend them?

I mostly play Poker Room, other sites have better benefits, such as high hand jackpots and what not...
That said, I like the interface lots, the two freerolls a day are fun, they are adding no limit tournament in November. They have cross platform support, should you be on a Mac/Linux/Unix machine. The game seems fair, the only problem I have is the single table tournament server will sometimes suck, connection elsewhere will rock, but connection to the single tables gets bogged. They have made great improvements to this lately. You essentially get a penny on the raked hands you sit at the table with cards, which is nice. Oh and should you make a royal, play money or real, write support with the hand # and they send you a t-shirt.
The level of play seems to change, sometimes I can find a soft game, sometimes it is rough to find a decent game with bad players to exploit. However... one player this week at a limit table did say, "Hold'em is a game that is played pre-flop." and would consistently raise his marginal hands. The single table tournaments I've met a bunch of nice people, that are pleasant to play cards together, ring games I found to contain more... umm... Belligerent players. I guess it is just the cash being immediately lost that is frustrating.
