Knowing what sort of players are capable of bluff raising is a good tool. I was thinking about what sort of people bluff raise and wondering if any of you guys have any insight. Here are a few things I have noticed. ABC players can and will bluff raise on a drawing hand. So if you see a possible flush or straight draw you should consider a bluff more stongly. Rocks don't bluff raise. Smart players bluff raise more often when there is less players (for obvious reasons) Other than that I personally can't think of anything else other than doing the actual work and watching the showdowns and remembering them. Any imput?

If you are on a flush draw and can expect more than 5 callers than a raise is not a bluff. You dont want anyone to fold to your bet as over the long term your raise makes a profit (EV+) from each caller.
If you are in a tighter game than of course raising with a draw is a bluff as you want people to fold to your bet as this is the only way it will create value.
