| I see lots of people like to use quotes so I figured this was the time and place to put our quotes keep adding to it. Here's mine! "Playing 5 deuce off suit is like eating jello with chop sticks sometimes u get some the rest of the time your left with nothing." | ||

| C'mon, how about some originality? That quote is about hitting a knuckleball. Besides Uecker's famous quote about catching a knuckleball, my other fave was Charlie Lau's "there are two theories on how to hit a knuckleball. Neither of them work." Eli on 14. | I prefer....... Q: How do you catch a knuckleball? A: Wait until it stops rolling, then pick it up. on 14. Oct 2003 21:43 KJo wrote: > C'mon, how about some originality? | Hey LJH et al... I was actually the one who started the whole quote thing. I have never cited the original author, because it started as a game, where the regulars would try to guess where the quote came from. If it offends you, or anyone, I would be happy to start adding the cite after (see below for an example). I know that this can be construed as plagiarism, so I would not be adverse to changing my ways. -Moz "There's too much caffeine in your bloodstream, and a lack of real spice in your life." -The Smiths | ||
