| This friday i will be turning 19, still 2 years away from being able to play poker at most locations. So far i've been playing exclusively in small cash games and in the 30 and 50s at party. Can anybody tell me good places to play until you hit 21, and good ways to practice when you can't compete against other solid players in a casino? | ||

| Hey Bond, I have the same problem you do, turning 20, in Nov., and I play a lot of multi table tourneys at PokerPages. Its play money but they also have rankings so it makes it competitve for those who actually care about poker. Plus if you are ranked in the top 3, you get free month(s) to Poker School. At school I have found some games and made some connections so I usually have a game to go to every weekend. On a side note, what do you mean by 30 and 50s at party poker. Is it legal or what? | ||

| So from one minor to another, how do you not get caught playing online for money? And what credit card company do you have and how long have you been doing this so I can maybe follow suit. Thanks for your input. | ||

| simple... you have to be 18 to play overseas. That and the casions don't really check anyways, deposit through neteller | ||

| So would it be better to use neteller than good old fashioned credit card? Also, what kind of punishment would I get if I were to get caught? | ||

| Also, you are definately old enough to set up a checking account at most any bank. You can use firepay to move funds from your checking account into an online site. And unless you come out and tell them you're under 21 and playing illegally, I doubt they would care. Even if you did, I'm not sure they would mind. They get the rake no matter how old you are. If you want to play and are comfortable with it, I would say there is minimal risk involved. Lee | ||
