| I tried to have some money transferred into my account online and I ran up against a maximum allowable limit. Curious... And so I asked about it and was informed, "The size of the limit is based on your age." How in the hell did PartyPoker make the determination that a 30-something yo is not old enough to transfer $900?! So I asked about a solution to which I was informed that if I become a registered player (re: give up a credit card number) that they would increase my limit. Ah-huh. Despite having applied for 3 credit cards in the (distant) past who found my vocation to be less than desirable, I have managed to get along just fine through life paying cash. How apropos that the first insurmountable obstacle I encounter is in the same industry which fueled the credit cards companies decision to deny me all those years ago. No wonder they're off-shore; makes it tougher for me to show up at their offices. | ||
