setting up a tournament, joe sanderson, 13. Oct 2003 17:05

Does anyone have an established plan for setting up a tournament?
We will have between 16 and 20 players, each putting up $200. We don't want to start with no-limit, but work up to that gradually. Our idea is pay off the top 4 or 6 players. What would be a good betting limit to start with and increase over time. The final table of 4 or 6 could be no limit at that point. Any suggestions appreciated

This is pretty Vague, but if you go to CardPlayer.com and check in there archived issues, I seem to remember read a article about the different kinds of tournament structure.

Joe, I have hosted 2 tournaments, both no limit. I have documents of all the structures I have used if you are interested. I took the blind structure from the wsop and cut the rounds to 1 hr and removed 2 blinds. If you are interested email me at brentpoker@yahoo.com I also have a great site to purchase chips and things. I searched for a month and it was the cheapest I found. http://www.5stardeal.com
