| I leave in the morning for Greektown Casino. I am planning on sitting at a 5/10 table most of the day. This will only be my second trip to a live casino. I play in a local B&M but it's a charity game. I hope to come back on Monday and brag about either a big win or just solid play. Brent | ||

| Ok, I have returned. I'm happy to say that I came home even. I lost $35 at blackjack and made $46 in 5/10 hold'em. Being that I don't play in live games much, it took me a while to settle down. I got short stacked and was able to battle my way back with two little pots in a row. There were at all times 3 players worse than I. There were also 3 that were better. I learned to stay out of their way for the most part. After one of them raised me out of both my blinds and then raised my next big blind I looked down to see ace king so I reraised. We capped the pot with 7 of us. Flop comes AK8 all off. I check, bet, I check raise and the pot gets capped with 4 of us left. 4th street brings nothing and I check and call the $10 bet, knowing what I'm walking into. River comes rag and we both check (nice of him). He flips over pocket kings for trips and I miss out on a huge pot. Over all, I played a few to many pots and know of 4 times that I wasn't aggressive enough. Just wanted to share my results. Also, we were there for a bachelor party and had a blast. The poker room is small and there was a long wait but the casino is pretty nice and we had no problems the whole time. Brent | ||
