| While anyone is welcome to comment on my play here, my real purpose is just to provide a few laughs (this is a real story, however). I join a 3/6 online table, one left the BB (UTG). I intend to hit "wait for BB" but instead hit "Post Blind." So I post an out-of-turn blind UTG--perhaps the single dumbest play in poker (before you get your cards, that is). So I'm dealt K2c--a hand I wouldn't play UTG in a million years. Obviously, I check. 1 limper to LP who raises. Blinds fold. K2c isn't TOTAL junk, I reason. And I'm getting bettter than 7:1 to call the raise, so I call. The other limper folds. Flop comes 2h9d5c, a textbook rag flop. But I've got bottom pair and a backdoor draw. If my opponent bet on raised big cards...maybe he'll muck! So I bet, he calls. The turn is Tc, giving me the 2nd nut flush draw (and putting a straight draw on the board). It's an easy decision to bet into this one...but my opponent raises. Hmmm, maybe pocket tens? Either way, it's an easy decision to call. Turn comes Jc giving me the flush. I figure, he can't put me on the flush here (heck, he can't put me on ANYTHING). So I bet. He raises. I reraise. He just calls and turns over TT for trips, which loses of course. Had I played this hand "right," I never would have played! But my mouse slipped and I took a good pot...that's online poker, I guess! | ||

| I had a slip of the mouse happen to me too!! I was playing in a $10 sit n go on UB. And I was in the money and heads up with another player. We were almost even in chips. Im the BB and check to see the flop. Im holding 25o. Flops comes K,J,9. He goes all in and I accidently hit call instead of fold. and he showed J9 for two pair. I obviously lose and left with nearly nothing. OOOOOPPPS... o well.. | ||
