Getting closer to the money, entered a poker room limit hold'em freeroll today, and placed 6th one out of the play money prize, and three from the real cash. This is a new record for me with a field this deep, 750 or so folks sign up. i would be beaming, but i really wanted to win it...
First hour went miserable good cards missing, mostly junk hands 9 2 off suit from the big blind won the only hand I could scrape in. Second hour I started catching and holding up. Third hour stuff was sticking as well. I can only remember two mistakes, the last one being the most critical, letting someone get to the river, when the fourth of a suit popped up and I had top pair, he rivered trips, which we both checked off the turn and the river, aggression on the turn would have probably fixed it my way. The only other critical one was over playing an AK against a flush. Otherwise decent poker, and I think I only had 20 or less hands that were playable across the whole game.
Thanks for all the help, this forum has much more useful information and advice than rec poker.

Peace,
R.Dale aka on pokerroom.com Sashimi
