| Mark--- and those rooms dont deserve yours or anyone elses business. In the past i've had a player threaten to get a gun and shoot me. His name? Crazy Mike. I feel a strong need to protect the dealer especially if its a female ( Sir Galahad complex I.ve been told ) As poker continues to grow management will become more and more important .At is best, most poker management is passive, at its worst, permissive. Sorry if I implied you should get confrontational--that was not my intent. | ||

| Gary, I understand your feelings completely - thought you might enjoy this anecdote: I was at the Bike years ago when a very good though young chinese woman got into the box. I noticed because she had dealt to me before and had always been very proficient - kind of a relief to see her after some less than admirable performances. Anyway, this man started in on her immediately - way out of line. At that time you were drawing dead to get management to do anything about it - I'd say even more so than now. As his attack became increasingly brutal I flew out of my chair (the chair fell over backwards), leaned over the table (I probably should add here that I'm a big boy - ex-personal trainer, ex-special forces) and growled, "One more word to my wife and I swear to god I will..." at which point the dealer (whom to be honest - I never even knew her name) patted my arm and said, "Thank you husband but please do not go to jail again." I sat down - he never said another word. | ||
