| There's a "The Big Blind" on imdb that was made 4 years ago, doesn't look like it was ever released. Eli on 6. | Hi. I understand the movie has a distribution deal and will be released in November. There was a preview in LA area a month or so ago. BarryT | ||

| I've been ignoring this post until a moment ago - isn't this the movie which was filmed at Elsinore? I just got an invitation to a showing about 6 weeks ago for a poker movie which I understood was the Elsinore one. Let me know - if it's the same one I'll ask - I know a couple of people who were in that one. | ||

| Stuey has not yet (to my knowledge) found a distribution deal. I work in the motion picture industry and have been tracking it for some time. | ||

| Haven't seen it, but probably. Too downbeat, no well-known enough stars, etc. It ain't easy getting smaller, independent films open, trust me, I know. Eli on 7. | you in the biz eli? a few of my old friends are down there, ones a writer/director and ones a director. both are poor heh. he's done this hilarious 50's educational film spoofs like "what to to with your dead hooker" and "is it time to swap?" about wife swaping among others. im trying to get him to do one on the dangers of gambling /poker...check out the shorts here: http://daedalushowell.com/films.html on 7. I saw the films and wrote a review about it that will appear in a future Card Player column. The film has a web site; it's www.thebigblind.com, and you can get additional information about it there.
