| I will be moving to Las Vegas next year and I was wondering what exactly is involved in becoming a poker dealer. I have heard of dealer schools, do all casinos require some sort of official training or is it generally in house? Do people generally get hired straight in to a dealing job or are they generally expected to start out in lower position? Any info that you can give me is greatly appreciated. Aaron | ||

| Although there have been exceptions, plan on going to dealers school. There are only a few places that accept break-in dealers once you have completed school - I don't recall the list but the Orleans is one of them (I believe their are five). Don't try to save money on an inexpensive school - the difference shows. | ||
