Three Elements of Winning Poker by Lucid Learning
Perfect your poker skills with Three Elements Of Winning Poker. Master the critical components of Hand-Reading, Betting, and Bluffing. Three Elements consists of three complete programs, each designed specifically to powerfully encode one of the three critical aspects of the game. This program utilizes multiple simultaneous sound stream technology to quickly bring the mind to its super learning state. Winning poker players consistently improve their game, taking every opportunity to learn and progress. You join the ranks of the master players with this series of three individual hypnosis sessions.

Editor Opinion: If used properly, I believe this outstanding material
can greatly enhance the quality of your play. On the other hand,
if you are a player who does not understand how to win in the first
place, no amount of hypnosis or subliminal reinforcement is going
to help your game. To achieve the most benefit from these tapes
and CDs, I recommend listening to them just before you play.

Peace

(Because of the huge influx of new posters and topics, I've really been trying to limit my posts to those that would be most helpful.)

Are you kidding me??!?!?

And if your post wasn't in jest......Since you can't play poker by the book, you can't learn poker by the book, let alone subliminally or by hypnosis. No learning tool can account for the players you play with, so experience is tantamount after "learning" some basic skills.

Meditation - Very useful and appreciated by me. You're alone with your own thoughts, that can be helpful.

This 'ad' infers that poker skills might be learned through hypnosis and "sound stream technology", which is the butt of my skepticism. Hand reading, betting, and bluffing........If everyone read hands, bet, and bluffed the same...........then I'd say "ok, if you believe in hypnosis as a learning tool." and be fine with it.

"This program utilizes multiple simultaneous sound stream technology to quickly bring the mind to its super learning state."

So if I have all the skills to win at poker already, then listen to a bunch of birds chirping near waterfalls with new age techno music in the background, I'll "bring my mind to a super learning state." ?

Why don't we do this at our current jobs? And why can I buy these CD's from a kiosk in the mall next to the chiropractor with the full body water massage machines?

Sorry for the beat down. If you're already into hypnosis, great, I think that's an interesting subject. Just don't be suckered into someone selling CD's that have the same "sound stream technology" as last month, yet they've conveniently spliced in some poker lingo over the "sound stream" and found a new market for it.

I'm guessing you live in California. (not hateful, I'm from there, but this is where i would expect to see this pop up.)

Yup CA San Diego North County Home of "Oceans 11" and you right I just found it intresting is all. Found it on the net looking for the StatKing program on some poker site. Thought it seemed flaky really but I kinda like to here other views on that type of stuff. Apparently though it has been out of print per say for some time. So I was guessing its been around awhile.
