| My wife asked me a terminology question last night, and I couldn't give her a straight answer, because I've never really thought about it before. When we talk about nut straights, nut flushes, etc., does it really have to be the nuts to be called that? By now you're thinking that I'm nuts, so I'll clarify. Let's say you have AhKh, and the board shows Qh8h4d2h2c. Do you still call it a nut flush, even though the true nuts would be four deuces, and there's also boat possibilities? | ||

| Im new to the game, but from my knowledge, you cant call that the Nut Flush if the board is paired. There are seven hands that can beat you!!!! | ||

| When one says"Nut Flush" it means that you have the best flush, not the absolute Nuts for the hand. Same with Nut Straight "Truth is in the mind of the teller" O.J.C. | ||
