| I've tried doing a search here on UPF on Kill pots, but haven't been able to locate a post explaining what it is/how it works. None of the books I've read have discussed this either. Anyone care to explain? (or provide a link to a site/article that explains it) Thx in advance! | ||

| There are several hundred posts in the archives. Select the group General Poker (Archives Only), and click View (Archive). Use the search function in the thread message window, not the search box on the UPF title bar. Probably the most interesting thread was started by stdioh this past July, titled "Hold'em with a kill - advanced strategy". It is currently located on page 67 of the archives. The thread lasted several days , with a high volume of responses. | ||

| Just curious, if you have a full kill and your in the blinds, do you post the blind + the kill blind, or does the kill blind superscede the normal blind? Also, I assume that if you have a full kill and continue to win, then it stays with you....but what happens if you have a full kill and either split a pot or win a hand that is under whatever number was set to recieve a kill? Do you retain the kill or does it go back to the middle? Thanks. | ||

| If you have the kill and blind, you just post the kill. If you win, you have to win that certain amount to keep/activate the kill for the next hand, unless you have the 2-straight-hands above $xx rule in effect. on 3.
