As I recall when signing up for party poker some months ago the minimum age requirement for playing was 18, the only online poker site under 21, making it legal for my nearly 19 year old self to play there. However now i have become interested in their party poker million but a questoin arises. Say i were to win a cruise (not likely but it could happen) and an entry into the million, would i be of legal age to play on the boat and participate in the tournament?

The tournament will take place once the ship is in international waters so I don't think you have to be 21, probably only over 18.

But you should definately contact Party and confirm.

I seem to remember this question came up about a month or two ago and someone from Party said you have to be over 21 to collect a prize. Check the archives though i could be wrong !

From partypoker.com web-site "Rules" section under PartyPoker.com Million III Finals:

"Players must be 21 years old to play."

You can't play in the party poker million tournament unless you are 21. She also says that partypoker.com is 21 or over, but the cardplayer cruises are 18 or over.

This is cut from a post by Jan:

-------------------------------------------------------------------
FWIW, the age to play in the PPM is 21. If someone were to slip thru the cracks and play the event, they would be very unhappy if they made the money! They would be asked for ID at that time and would not receive anything as they would have broken the rules. Generally, the age to play in the cardroom on a Card Player Cruises trip is 18, but the PPM is 21 as that is their policy on the Partypoker.com site.

Good luck qualifying!
