| i was reading somthing maybe a book ....about small mini tournaments ,,,20-50$ buy ins ...it said rebuys within the 1st 2 rounds. THEN, later on it said something about taking advantage of the rebuy befor your busted out of the game. Somthing about you can rebuy for another 1000$s worth of chips even if your ahead ,IS THIS TRUE, Or do you have to be out of chips to rebuy!!, or under the given amount to start with in the tournament!!??? | ||

| Typically rebuys can be bought any time you're under a set amount of chips (usually your starting level), or whenever you bust out, for the first hour. Often, people will rebuy before the tournament even starts. Many tournaments also offer add-ons after the first break regardless of your chip level. Rebuys and add-ons can be bought as single or double, depending on the tournament's rules. Eli on 29. | It depends on who you are playing through, but most re-buy tournaments allow you to re-buy if you have fewer chips then the amount of chips you would get with the re-buy. So if you have 999 chips and would get 1000 in chips you could re-buy, but if you have 1000 then you can't. Once again, though, this depends on the tournament that you are in, so it always important to check out the rules before you start any tourney. Plus, most re-buy tourneys have an add-on when the re-buys are stopped and any player can get that. | ||

| Most of the tourneys I have played allow rebuys when you have what you started with or less. I usually rebuy before it starts and start with double what some at the table do. This allows you to bet more freely and if you happen to double up a few times then that initial rebuy grows into many more thousands.... Guinnessman | ||

| You can only rebuy when your chips are less the the original amount. You Add-on at the end of the first hour (for 5 minutes until second hour starts) no matter how many chips you have. I am talking about online Multi-tourneys. Malachii | ||
