OK-

I played the $1000 buy-in tonight. Busted out around 25th or so (there were 52 players).

The field was tough, tight and unpredictable. I am VERY proud of how well I played overall. I caught a tough beat early on that cost me about half my stack, and had meticulously re-built it to better than average.

Then I got AQ in late position, it's folded to me and I raise about 3x the BB. The button calls and the blinds fold. Flop come 3Q7, and I make a pot-sized bet. Button makes a minimum raise, and I push all-in (about T5000). He has me covered and quickly calls. He has 33 for the set and I'm out. Ah, well. It was a blast to play, you can bet I will be in the sattelites again for the next one!

Hey Moz,

I'm sure you played your best, and that's all that matters. 'And there's no doubt in my mind that you'll have *many*(more) top money finishes: )
Good luck in the next one.

Thanx 4P-

I appreciate the kind words. Overall, I feel very good about it, in spite of my finish, because I really felt I was playing better than the vast majority of the people there. It's very exciting and I can't wait to get back into the fray.
