how often on average should you see the flop?, Palinya, 27. Sep 2003 13:06

In a micro limit game, I am folding before the flop 65%, checking 18% (small and big blind are both $0.01), calling 17% and raising 2%

so I'm betting on 19% and check / folding on the rest. Does this seem about right in a micro game? Should this type of game be played a little looser than a bigger game?

the math dudes will be better with this, but i feel you flop % is great but i really dont understand the 2% raising stat. should be higher. playing tight is good, but when u have the edge and the goods, hammer time, raise raise when u should.

If you only raise 2% of the time, your opponents will always put you on
AA or KK and fold. You have to raise with AK, JJ, AJ suited once in a while to keep people in the hand when you have AA or KK.
