| I am playing at a tight somewhat aggressive 6-12 b&M game. I am in early middle position. everyone folds to me I have 9cTc. Considering the fact that this pot may still get raised ,I am out of position, and I don't anticipate a multiway pot I fold. I didn't think raising with this holding is a good play either. The pot did get raised which gave me satisfaction at the moment but had I stayed in I would have ended up with a flush and would have won a decent pot. Did I play this too tight? I think I played it correctly given the circumstances but I would like your feedback. Thanks | ||

| Hi MFS No, I think you played it right....I will play that hand in that position with on loose passive players behind me that I can outplay....I also might raise with that texture of a hand as a deception play if I think there is some chance I will steal the blinds.....But I don't want to play that hand when I am likely to get raised from behind.......Being out of position shorthanded with the worst hand is a tough spot to get the best of.....Good Play! | Hi, In aggresive games, your starting hand needs to be very strong when you're in a poor position. If the game was passive, you could limp in with that hand in MP, but not where there are aggresive opponents seated to your left. You made the right decision imo, and no need to think about the pot that you could have won. 4P- | ||
