| I would just like to recommend a bookshop in London (Great Ormond Street) called High Stakes (www.highstakes.co.uk). It is a little shop that seems to have every possible book imaginable on poker and other gambling pursuits. My experience of them has been excellent - the manager is an absolute gentleman and i strongly believe we should support smaller businesses like this - especially ones where your books are dispatched personally on the same day. Call me a romantic, but i think in an age of big corporations and impersonal service, here is a true and rare treasure. I am in no way related to the manager and he hasn't paid me off :-) - just think he deserves the best since that is what he gives. Next time you need a poker book, horseracing book etc please consider High Stakes | ||
