| I was in a game the other day and found myself heads up against some maniac fish. I was holding AA. Flop was AAJ. I checked and he bet. I called. Turn was J. I checked and called his bet. River was a 2. I thought a sec then checked. He bet of course and I raised...he reraised and we went back and forth till capped. He turned over pocket 2's for 222AA. As I showed him my quads he said, "why were you checking with that hand?" I thought for a sec then replied, "When fishing, the base of my reel is the nuts" | ||
