| Hi, i sit down at a 10-handed PL ring game (25c/50c) with the maximum buy-in of $50. I patiently wait for the BB before i post. When it gets round i get dealt the KsKh. Wow! Nice way to start. UTG calls, 2 fold then a call then its folded to me. I raise the max of $1.75 and both limpers call (pot is $7). Flop: 8s4cQs - nice I bet the pot - $7 - UTG raises $14 - other limper folds - and i go all-in with the $40.75 i have left. UTG calls (he had me covered). At this point i'm thinking i'm going to double through on my first hand - i'm sure he has AQ or KQ though i've never seen him play a hand in my life Turn and river are: 2d & 4s Anyway, he has 8c 8d and had flopped a set and there goes my $50 - was a destined to lose all my money or could i have limited the damage... Anyway, got to go... need to win that cash back :) | ||
