Hi

I would like to know what people think is the most important things to know about how your opponents play (talking NL SNGs here). I figure starting hands oplayed according to position, what they call with, raise with, call raises with - does anyone try to look for differences in this according to the stage of the tournament?

What are the key situations to look for differences in the way people play? e.g. how they play top pair? What they do with an overpair but a pair on board? Please help - i would like to move up a level in this respect but i would like to be much more methodical about the type of info i should be collecting...

Thanks

Just a couple.

Do they understand the importance of having a kicker.

Will they always hold such as bottom pair to showdown because they are always afraid of being bluffed.

Do they play any two suited or connected cards

what else is important is not the cards that they play, because MOST players will change there playing hand standards for different levels, is you should focus on players betting patterns. one thing ive noticed is players will bet most of there hands similarly. watch for the betting patterns and youll be able to figure out the hands there playing
